Full Stack Engineer
Qlay Technologies is seeking a remote Full Stack Engineer to join a client team developing an innovative audio social networking platform. This is a full-time contractor role open to candidates based in Vietnam, offering a starting monthly salary of USD 1,800 gross. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining a serverless web application with features focused on audio editing and processing. Key responsibilities include frontend development using React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, managing cloud-based audio storage with Azure, implementing serverless functions, and deploying the app via Vercel. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of full-stack development experience and a strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript-based frameworks. A background from top Vietnamese or international universities is preferred. Required skills include expertise in React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, MongoDB, and experience with Azure or other cloud storage platforms. Familiarity with audio/media processing technologies and fluency in English are also crucial. Experience working in fast-paced, startup environments is a bonus.
This fully remote role requires 40 hours per week with a strong emphasis on productivity and ownership. You'll need to use your own development equipment, and solo employment is mandatory—no secondary jobs permitted. Expectation for the role
- Develop and maintain a serverless web app for audio processing and editing.
- Optimize frontend performance using Next.js and React.js.
- Design and manage cloud-based storage for audio files (Azure).

- Work with MongoDB for database management.
- Implement responsive UI with Tailwind CSS.
Must Have Requirements
- Preferably graduated from a top Vietnamese university (HCMUT, HCMUS, HUST, UIT, etc.) and/ or top university around the world.
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and serverless architectures.
- Proficiency in MongoDB and cloud storage (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Vercel or similar hosting platforms.
- Experience with audio/media editing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Language: Working-level proficiency in English.

- Experience in startup environments (ability to move fast).
