Senior Full-stack Web Developer
HayaiLearn, an innovative Japanese language learning platform headquartered in New York, is seeking a Senior Full-stack Web Developer to join their team on a freelance, remote basis in Vietnam. As part of a dynamic and mission-driven team, the developer will work on enhancing a video immersion web-app used to teach Japanese with AI-powered features. Core responsibilities include end-to-end web application development, improving performance and user experience, and delivering high-quality code across both frontend and backend layers. The role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the platform’s educational impact, in a flexible and growth-oriented environment.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 4 years of full-stack development experience. Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and CSS is essential, along with a strong grasp of object-oriented design and responsive UI/UX development. Practical knowledge of web performance optimization and the ability to transform pixel-perfect designs into scalable features will be key to success. Fluency in English and strong communication skills are also required.
