Senior Backend Engineer
findfolks, a remote-first company specializing in intelligent recruitment solutions, is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer based in Vietnam for a full-time, remote role. The company is building an innovative no-code/low-code automation platform, deeply integrated with LLMs and enterprise-grade tooling. As part of the founding engineering team, you'll play a key role in the architecture and development of back-end services and APIs using Java and Spring. You'll collaborate cross-functionally, lead back-end initiatives, and influence design strategy. Compensation includes a competitive salary, stock options, three weeks of paid leave, and profit-sharing upon product launch.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java/Spring, strong skills in building scalable and secure distributed systems, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development. Experience with PostgreSQL and backend performance optimization is highly valuable. A solid academic background in Computer Science or a related field is required. This role is open exclusively to engineers currently residing in Vietnam.

Your Role
As a Lead Back-End Java Engineer, you’ll help architect and build the foundation of our platform. You’ll have a critical voice in key technical decisions and the chance to shape the product from day one.We’re looking for engineers who take pride in clean code, system resilience, and technical ownership—and who enjoy working alongside others who feel the same.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance back-end services and APIs using Java (Spring)
- Lead the development of fault-tolerant, secure, and modular systems
- Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with front-end and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Influence architectural decisions and long-term infrastructure strategy
What You Bring
- 2+ years of professional Java experience (Spring framework preferred)
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and modern data modeling
- Experience building distributed systems and optimizing backend performance
