Role Overview

The Operational Automations Officer designs, deploys, and manages AI + automation frameworks across the company. Their goal is to remove manual effort wherever possible while embedding quality control (QC), compliance, and reliability into all workflows. This role ensures operational processes are fully automated, scalable, and continuously optimized for performance, productivity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Automation & AI Systems
  • Map, automate, and maintain workflows across all business units (Tech, HR, CX, Sales, Marketing, Finance).
  • Build scalable, set-and-forget automations using AI, RPA, and iPaaS platforms.
  • Continuously monitor and improve automation performance, uptime, and scalability.
  • Team Productivity & Workforce Tracking
  • Implement and automate time/productivity tracking (Clockify, Time Doctor, Hubstaff).
  • Build dashboards and GPT query integrations for executive oversight.
  • Deliver insights into workforce utilization, efficiency, and productivity trends.
  • Quality Control Systems (QC)
  • Design and implement AI-driven QC workflows to detect errors, anomalies, or compliance breaches.
  • Create automated alerts and corrective actions for missed steps, bottlenecks, or deviations.
  • Standardize QA dashboards and reporting pipelines to give leadership visibility into performance quality as well as productivity.
  • Integrate automated QC into onboarding, compliance, customer experience, and technical project workflows.

Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain audit trails, RBAC, MFA, and least-privilege access models.
  • Deliver QC + compliance SOPs and playbooks for managers and executives.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure all automations meet regulatory, privacy, and security requirements.
  • Enablement & Handover
  • Train team leads on interpreting automation + QC dashboards.
  • Provide an Automation & QC Playbook with runbooks and escalation procedures.
  • Ensure automations are designed for long-term sustainability (set-and-forget with minimal interventions).

  • 3–5+ years in automation, RPA, or process optimization roles.
  • Proficiency in automation platforms (Zapier, Make, UiPath, Workato, or equivalent).
  • Experience with productivity tools (Clockify, Time Doctor, Hubstaff).
  • Knowledge of AI-driven QC frameworks, workflow monitoring, and error detection.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and training ability.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
