Job Description
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Finance and Accounting Analyst will work together with the Vietnam Finance Team and Asia Shared Service Centre (SSC) to support the Vietnam business by managing the day-to-day finance & accounting operations, delivering insightful timely analysis and other financial needs.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Responsible for submission of timely, accurate and commercially-focused Budget and Forecast, in line with agreed templates and timetables
- Monthly P&L actual review and working with SSC for month end, including:
- Ensuring revenue and costs are recorded correctly
- Verifying intercompany billings are performed
- Making accruals in accordance with Group guidelines
- Timely release of accruals, if any
- Build necessary financial/management reports from appropriate systems for review and analysis purposes
Business Analysis & Support
- Identify and timely report risks and opportunities for the business and cost management
- Update commentary highlights concisely, anticipating potential questions and addressing them in advance with supporting analysis
- Provide Business Partner support to event team
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Handle local statutory compliance matters such as audit and taxation
- Perform VAT invoice publishing for VN office as per local requirements
Intercompany Transactions
- Conduct intercompany reviews including:
- Agreements
- Invoicing
- Resolving mismatches
- Cash settlements
Additional Responsibilities
- Respond to ad hoc queries/requests from various stakeholders
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience in an MNC environment preferred
- Well versed in ERP and CRM systems
- English: Strong fluency in both verbal communication and writing
- Comfortable dealing with business partners/colleagues
- Well-organized with good prioritization skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and results-oriented
