Financial Analyst Intern
Token Metrics is seeking a Financial Analyst intern for a remote, 3-month unpaid internship with potential for return offers based on performance. In this role, you’ll dive into financial data analysis, support reporting efforts, assess expenditures, analyze market conditions, and contribute to financial modeling and forecasting. Interns will collaborate with the finance team to identify trends and offer improvement recommendations. This position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, AI-driven crypto investment firm serving clients globally.
The ideal candidate will have or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business, with proven financial industry experience. Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial tools, along with a solid grasp of GAAP, corporate finance models, and forecasting is required. Skills in G-Suite, presentation, and communication will be key, as will familiarity with financial systems and institutions.

Responsibilities
- Analyzing financial data.
- Researching macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions.
- Preparing accounting and other required reports and projections based on the analysis performed.
- Evaluating capital expenditures and asset depreciation.
- Establishing and evaluating records, statements, and profit plans.
- Identifying financial performance trends and financial risk, and making recommendations.
- Providing recommendations for improvement based on trends.
- Coordinating with other members of the finance team, such as a risk analyst when required to review financial information and forecasts.
- Providing financial models and making financial forecasts.
Requirements
- Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in the financial industry.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Proficient in G-Suite.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Deep understanding of the financial system and institutions.
