<p><strong>About this team and role:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mozilla seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Delivery Engineering team, as part of the Cloud Engineering organization. You’ll drive big improvements to our internal developer platform, including:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build a modern CI/CD system centered around tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage and optimize Mozilla’s cloud infrastructure costs (including FinOps, labeling, metering, and showbacks of costs).</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Uplevel service health at Mozilla by setting the standard for how Observability is used, and making it easy for teams to follow that standard.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Modernization effort of our IAM system, ensuring robust, secure, and user-friendly identity management.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mature self-serve tools and gitops workflows to enable service teams&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Implementing security improvements in partnership with Product Security (e.g., CNAPP, WAF).</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">K8S fundamentals including networking and BC/DR for teams running on our platform.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Supporting the infrastructure behind AI use cases for developers in Mozilla, in partnership with our Data Platform team.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead & grow a high-performing engineering team focused on the automation, self serve, data driven delivery engineering&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead design, architecture for MozCloud Platform services to establish repeatable patterns&nbsp;</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage the roadmaps across the multiple focus areas of your team, prioritizing user experience and alignment with organizational strategy.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve project milestones across the components of the infrastructure platform you own.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Champion operational excellence, innovation, and scalable user-centric solutions.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure high standards for security, compliance, reliability, and usability.</span></li>
</ul>
<strong>What you’ll bring:</strong>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">15+ years software engineering experience, including at least 5 years of team management.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Track record leading large-scale organizational and technical transformations anchored around Cloud Native platform and services.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Deep expertise in K8s containerized production infrastructure frameworks and tooling including Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm charts, Prometheus, Grafana, IAM, IdP, WAF, Gateway API and related tooling.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficient with multiple cloud platforms, particularly GCP.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong leadership and communication skills, adept at aligning technical initiatives with strategic user and organizational objectives.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Curiosity and interest in learning new things</span></li>
