A leading digital platform client of AnyWork, a trusted IT job platform and headhunting agency in Vietnam, is hiring a seasoned Remote Software Engineer in Test. This full-time, remote role is based in Vietnam and offers up to 70M VND gross monthly salary along with full social insurance coverage, performance-based bonuses, and remote work support. The successful candidate will play a key role in automating QA processes, developing test frameworks, and ensuring high software quality across the client’s platform for digital company registration and financial services in markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to evolving best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Candidates should have at least 4+ years of experience in Automation QA or as SDET, with proficiency in tools like Selenium (minimum 4 years), Jenkins, and API testing. Coding skills in JavaScript, Java, or Python are essential, along with knowledge of SQL, scripting, and experience working with CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Robocorp, Rest Assured, or UI Path is a plus. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, both white and black box testing, and excellent English communication skills are required. A degree in Computer Science or related field is also expected.

The recruitment process includes a skills test and interviews with team members and co-founders — all conducted in English. This remote-first opportunity offers flexible working hours (Monday to Friday), paid leaves escalating to 22 days/year by year 5, and annual certifications support. Team members can also opt to work from the company's offices in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City if preferred.

We are looking for our next SDET, who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of coding experience with Javascript/ Java/ Python, 4+ years in SDET Role or Automation QA role
  • Solid grasp of software QA methods, tools, and processes.
  • Must have experience with Selenium (4 years), Jenkins, API testing
  • Have experience with Robocorp is a big plus
  • Good to have: UI Path, Rest Assured
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Experience in both white box and black box testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Testim, Jenkins, Selenium.
  • Integrate automated tests seamlessly with CI/CD systems.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure top-notch code quality and testability.
  • Analyze test results, debug issues and work with developers to resolve defects.
  • Be the advocate for testability during the design phase of new features or system updates.
  • Provide prompt feedback on requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary, particularly for complex, large-scale features or systems.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Explore the latest testing technologies to enhance our QA processes.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams.
  • Mentor junior members of the QA team.
