Senior Technical Business Analyst
Socium – Teams Done Differently is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst for a fully remote role based in Southeast Asia. This is a 6-month contract working primarily during UAE business hours, with the possibility of extension. You’ll act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and offshore IT/development teams, ensuring alignment through structured documentation, stakeholder engagement, and vendor oversight. Core duties include project oversight, technical and business requirement translation, performance audits, and governance of risk, compliance, and quality assurance across digital transformation projects. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading technical business analysis in regulated enterprise environments, such as law firms, financial services, or audit organizations. A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus. Key qualifications include exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written), experience in systems integration and process improvement, and the ability to manage distributed and outsourced development teams. Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or Agile are highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Serve as the key point of contact between business stakeholders, offshore developers, and outsourced IT analysts. Ensure clear communication, alignment, and accountability across all parties.
- Project Oversight: Lead high-level project management activities, ensuring timely delivery of monthly milestones and tracking progress against agreed deliverables.
- Process Analysis & Documentation: Break down complex business processes into clear workflows and detailed technical requirements to guide development efforts.
- Performance Monitoring: Review and audit monthly outputs from external teams, providing actionable feedback and escalation when standards or deadlines are not met.
- Technical Translation: Translate business objectives into technical specifications and user stories that developers can execute on efficiently.
- Governance & Quality Assurance: Implement best practices in project tracking, documentation, and change management to ensure project stability and traceability.
- Risk & Compliance Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure that systems and deliverables meet compliance, data integrity, and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in large law firms, banks, audit or highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (10/10 English) — able to manage C-level stakeholders, legal teams, and offshore developers.
- Strong background in process improvement, systems integration, and digital transformation within legal or financial sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing outsourced vendors and offshore development teams.
- Familiarity with auditing practices, compliance procedures, and enterprise-grade documentation standards.
- Comfortable working across multiple time zones and managing remote teams effectively.
- PMP, CBAP, or Agile certification is a plus.
