Your Impact:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a technical leader, driving the design and development of major features and systems for our cloud-based SaaS platform. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence the direction of our technology and the growth of our engineering team.

You'll work remotely from Vietnam, contributing directly to development and supporting team members in Leicester. This role requires strong experience in both backend and frontend development.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and development of major features and systems for cloud-based SaaS applications.
• Architect and implement complex, scalable, and highly available solutions.
• Drive technical decisions and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product roadmaps.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies.
• Proactively address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and scalability challenges.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and architectural patterns.
• Lead incident response and resolution for critical production issues.

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience in e-commerce with specific Shopify experience being a plus.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as PHP and frontend technologies like AngularJS, React, and VueJS.
• Strong DevOps practices and tools knowledge.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide other engineers.
