About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing AI technology company building a next-generation video creation platform. Their product empowers users to generate original, commercially-safe music for video content in real time — focusing on ethical AI innovation and fair value to original creators.
The Role
We are seeking a Lead iOS Engineer who can architect scalable mobile systems and deliver high-performance A/V functionality. You will be the owner of the entire iOS engineering pipeline — from technical strategy to App Store release management.
What You Will Do
- Define long-term mobile architecture and modularization strategy
- Build real-time audio–video synchronization using AVFoundation (AVPlayer, AVComposition, etc.)
- Maximize battery efficiency, CPU & memory performance using Xcode Instruments
- Oversee App Store delivery, release automation & CI/CD
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers to optimize on-device + cloud workflows
- Drive velocity by leveraging AI tools for development productivity
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in iOS development, including 2+ years in a Lead/Staff role
- Expert-level mastery in AVFoundation + AVPlayback architectures
- Strong experience with Xcode Instruments (Time Profiler, Leaks, Energy Log)
- Deep knowledge of Swift, memory management & concurrency
- Proven track record delivering high-traffic consumer apps
- Strong ownership mindset + ability to make critical architecture decisions
