Backend Developer
A fast-growing, remote-first data intelligence company based in Singapore is looking for an experienced backend engineer to help shape the server-side architecture of its modern platform. This is a full-time, remote position on a distributed team of 60+ professionals around the world. Core responsibilities include designing and optimizing scalable systems, enhancing cloud infrastructure, building AI features, and maintaining legacy code—all while ensuring performance and observability.
Candidates should have production-level backend experience, ideally with Python or Go, and a strong grasp of SOLID principles and test-driven development. Comfort with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, and multi-cloud environments is a plus. Strong English communication skills and experience working in remote teams are required. Interview process includes an English screening and 1–2 technical rounds.

Job Overview And Responsibility
Design, develop, and maintain the server-side components of a modern data intelligence platform. Tackle challenges around performance, scalability, observability, and multi-cloud infrastructure. Collaborate on architectural decisions, infrastructure improvements, and AI feature integrations. Build prototypes, optimize production code, and contribute to improving legacy systems.
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience building production-level backend systems (Python and Go are a plus, but any language is welcome). Familiarity with SOLID principles and test-driven development. Solid command of English communication in a remote team environment.
