Employment Type: Part Time (with path to in-house hire)

Role Overview

You’ll own our visual storytelling: shaping and maintaining a consistent brand identity, producing high-quality assets, and collaborating across teams to deliver on time. This role is remote, with the intention to transition into a core in-house designer with us.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and evolve brand guidelines that capture our personality and keep all visuals cohesive across channels.
  • Design marketing and product collateral (digital and print), including social content, ads, web assets, emails, presentations, one-pagers, and brochures.
  • Translate briefs into standout concepts, refine based on feedback, and present work clearly to stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines; prioritize work and communicate progress proactively.
  • Prepare production-ready files; ensure consistency in typography, color, imagery, and layout.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership to align creative with business goals.
  • Maintain and organize design libraries and templates for efficient reuse and scaling.
  • Monitor design quality and brand consistency across all deliverables.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience (agency or in-house).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, cohesive systems, and polished execution.
  • Mastery of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Solid grasp of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience delivering high-quality assets on tight timelines and managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting ideas and rationale.
  • High level of creativity, ownership, and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Image rendering/visualization (e.g., 3D, advanced compositing, photorealistic mockups).
  • Experience with Illustrator, Figma, or similar tools.
  • Motion graphics or simple animation for social/ads.
  • Basic knowledge of print production and vendor coordination.
  • Understanding of web design principles and asset optimization.

Tools You’ll Use

  • Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop; Illustrator preferred).
  • Project management and communication tools (e.g., Asana, Slack).

You’ll Succeed Here If You

  • Make brands feel cohesive and intentional, not just “designed.”
  • Balance creativity with practicality—ship on time without sacrificing quality.
  • Love building systems (style guides, component libraries, templates).
  • Iterate quickly, accept feedback gracefully, and elevate ideas.
  • Take initiative and keep stakeholders in the loop.

Growth & Culture

  • Clear path to become our in-house designer (remote-first).
  • Collaborative team that values creativity, autonomy, and craft.
  • Opportunities to shape our brand as we scale.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
