Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to support and enhance the company’s eCommerce platforms across Magento Cloud and Shopify. This role involves full-stack development, platform optimisation, and technical ownership of multiple websites, working closely with Digital Marketing, UX/UI, and Technology teams to deliver scalable, high-performing digital experiences. The position also plays a key role in platform improvements, integrations, and eCommerce migration initiatives, ensuring websites are optimized for performance, SEO, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain eCommerce websites across Magento Cloud and Shopify
- Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules and integrations
- Build and optimize Shopify storefronts, including themes, APIs, and app integrations
- Support eCommerce platform migration initiatives, particularly Magento to Shopify
- Manage third-party integrations such as payments, analytics, CRM, and marketing tools
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing and UX/UI teams to deliver new features and improvements
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, high-performing, and conversion-optimized
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across platforms
Requirements
- 5+ years of Full Stack development experience with 50% focus in BE and 50% focus in FE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and relational databases (MySQL)
- Hands-on experience with Magento 2 development (frontend + backend)
- Experience with Magento 2.4.x upgrades or platform maintenance
- Strong experience with Shopify development, including Liquid, themes, APIs, and app integrations
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms and integrations
- Familiarity with DevOps practices such as Docker, deployments, and infrastructure awareness
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe Commerce / Adobe Commerce Cloud
- Experience supporting Magento → Shopify platform migrations
- Experience with API integrations and headless or modern frontend frameworks
- Experience optimizing websites for SEO, Core Web Vitals, and digital marketing campaigns
- Exposure to AI-driven tools or automation in web development
