Description: InApps Technology is seeking a skilled Copilot Power BI Expert to serve as a lead consultant for a key client based in Australia. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing Copilot in Power BI solutions that empower business teams to make data-driven decisions faster, without deep technical expertise. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly improve BI adoption and operational efficiency across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and end-to-end implementation of Copilot in Power BI solutions for the Australian client.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and reports for Finance, Sales, Operations, and Leadership teams.
• Leverage Copilot features to automate report generation, summarise insights, and enable natural language querying of data.
• Write complex DAX formulas and optimize data models to support high-performance reporting.
• Train and support business users (non-technical) to use Copilot and Power BI for self-service analytics.
• Advise on BI governance, data architecture, and best practices for enterprise Power BI deployment.
• Collaborate with the client's internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report design.
• Demonstrated experience with Copilot in Power BI or equivalent AI-assisted BI tooling.
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft data ecosystem: Power BI, Azure Synapse, Fabric, or Dataverse.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to deliver self-service analytics solutions.
• Solid knowledge of data warehouse concepts, ETL pipelines, and semantic modeling.
• Professional-level English communication skills — written and verbal — for client-facing work.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft certifications: PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer).
• Experience working with Australian or international enterprise clients.
• Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or broader Microsoft 365 integration.
