The Role

Reports to: VP, Sales (APAC)Location: Remote - Based in Hanoi, HCMC or Manila (flexible across Vietnam & Philippines)Comp: Negotiable (Base) + OTE + Share Options + Global iProov Benefits

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and loves wearing multiple hats:

  • Drive Pipeline: Act as the first point of contact for inbound and outbound leads across the APAC region, uncovering opportunities and turning curiosity into conversations.
  • Win New Business: Take ownership of building and closing deals in Vietnam and the Philippines, two of our highest-potential growth markets. You’ll have the freedom to map out your territory, identify key accounts, and deliver tailored solutions that solve real-world challenges.
  • Grow Existing Accounts: Take a strategic approach to our Vietnamese and Filipino portfolios, identifying whitespace, expanding product adoption, and hitting ambitious growth targets while maintaining strong client relationships.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of autonomy and room to make an immediate impact. If you enjoy a role that blends sales development, new business generation and account management, this position will let you do all three.

You’ll work closely with the VP of Sales (APAC) and collaborate with our global marketing and product teams to bring our solutions to market. Expect a mix of strategy, execution, and relationship management, perfect for someone who wants variety in their day-to-day work and the chance to grow into a larger regional leadership role as we expand.

How you can make an impact

  • Sales Development (APAC-wide)
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads across APAC, ensuring a healthy pipeline for the sales team.
  • Conduct discovery calls and nurture prospects through the early stages of the sales funnel.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to run targeted campaigns and follow up on regional event leads.
  • Business Development (Vietnam & Philippines)
  • Map and target the Vietnam and Philippines markets, identifying new logo opportunities across priority sectors.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers to position our solutions and drive adoption.
  • Account Management (Vietnam & Philippines)
  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing Vietnamese and Filipino accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through regular check-ins and strategic account planning.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand account value.

What we would like to see from you

  • You will have experience working in high growth, fast paced tech-first environments. You are passionate about building & launching quality products that have a positive impact.
  • You’re an experienced product leader with a background in security, identity (IAM), or enterprise SaaS. You combine strategic vision with operational rigour, and you’re motivated by delivering usable, secure, and elegant solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales development, or account management, ideally in a SaaS, Cybersecurity, or B2B environment.
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to prospect, qualify, and close deals independently.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience closing deals and managing renewals or upsells.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to sales.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities across different countries and time zones.
  • Curious approach to asking questions to understand a customer's pain points
  • Ability to think creatively and find solutions to unlock opportunities
  • Clear, persuasive communications with an ability to tailor your messages to different audiences
  • Fluent in English; Vietnamese or Filipino language skills are a plus.
