We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Lead to drive the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives aimed at promoting GlitchD and its products, including but not limited to Blyz, enhancing brand awareness, and driving user adoption. The Marketing Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping GlitchD and Blyz' marketing strategy and will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns across various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the GlitchD management team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote GlitchD's products and ecosystem
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, content marketing and events, to drive traffic, enhance engagement, and generate leads.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling and informative content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, and other marketing materials, to educate and attract developers, users, and ecosystem partners.
  • Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials, and develop strategies to enhance GlitchD's brand awareness and reputation within the blockchain industry.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, track key metrics, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and inform future strategies.
  • Agency/Advisor Collaboration: Plan, coordinate, and work with external marketing agencies and advisors to leverage specialized expertise, execute marketing initiatives, and maximize campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • 2-3+ years experience working in web3 space, or any experience related to Base ecosystem
  • A strong sense of ownership and ability to operate independently
  • Strong connections and an established presence within the Base and wider crypto communities.
  • Proven experience in public relations and community engagement, demonstrated through a strong social media presence (e.g., Twitter) and existing network.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, including targeting, budgeting, and optimization
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and other tools like Asana, Notion, Figma or similar
  • Able to work well with a global team.
  • Able to act independently and proactively, aligning with our hyper-growth mindset.
