UI Developer - Job Description

Web3 Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of and experience in Blockchain Development preferred
  • Frontend application development experience on any Web3 platforms such as Ethereum, Substrate based chains, Hyperledger, BigchainDb, Multi-Chain
  • Understanding the underlying blockchain architecture and how the APIs have been designed and exposed for consumption
  • Experience in wallet extensions like Metamask, Polkajs

UI/UX Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript: React.js is a JavaScript library, so strong understanding of the language is essential. This includes concepts such as variables, functions, loops, and objects
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS: React.js developers should have a good understanding of HTML and CSS, as they are used to build and style the user interface of a web application
  • Experience with other front-end technologies: In addition to React.js, it is helpful for a developer to have experience with other front-end technologies such as Angular, Vue.js, or Ember.js
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools: React.js developers should be familiar with tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm, which are used to build and manage front-end applications
  • Knowledge of design patterns: Understanding design patterns such as MVC (Model-View-Controller) and Flux can help a React.js developer write maintainable and scalable code
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Being able to troubleshoot and debug issues is an important skill for a React.js developer
  • Good communication skills: React.js developers should be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: React.js developers should be able to work independently, but also be able to collaborate with others as part of a team
