Transcriber - Vietnamese
A remote, part-time opportunity (20 hours/week, flexible schedule) is available with a Silicon Valley AI technology company dedicated to advancing natural language solutions. As an independent contractor, you will transcribe Vietnamese audio recordings into text, ensuring accuracy and adherence to style and spelling rules. The role offers permanent work-from-home status, immediate hiring, and a steady stream of freelance assignments. Compensation is based on hourly rates, determined by your performance.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent listening skills in Vietnamese, a strong grasp of written language, and the ability to work independently while following detailed guidelines. Prior experience in transcription is preferred. Requirements include a reliable internet connection, suitable equipment, and strong time management skills. Legal eligibility as an independent contractor is necessary; you must manage your own taxes and benefits.

Responsibilities:
Listen to audio recordings in Vietnamese and transcribe them accurately into text.
Ensure correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
Follow project-specific transcription guidelines.
Review and edit your own work to maintain high accuracy.
Meet assigned deadlines and maintain consistent output quality.
Communicate with the project manager regarding questions or clarifications.
Requirements
Proven experience in transcription or related fields is preferred.
Excellent Vietnamese listening skills and attention to detail.
Strong command of the written language (spelling, grammar, and punctuation).
Ability to follow detailed guidelines and formatting rules.
Reliable internet connection and necessary computer equipment.
Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
