Job Description
This is a remote position. This position is open to Vietnamese candidates.
Our client, a fast-growing AI company in the retail tech space, is hiring a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to oversee and drive cross-functional software initiatives. Sitting at the core of engineering, product, and operations, this role is essential in accelerating product delivery, integrating AI into both solutions and workflows, and ensuring clarity through structured execution practices
Key responsibilities:
- Convert strategic business objectives into detailed, executable plans across product, engineering, and operational teams.
- Define and manage program OKRs, track delivery milestones, and maintain structured team operating rhythms.
- Implement fixed-time, flexible-scope delivery models to promote speed and iterative development.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of the technical architecture to identify opportunities for improvement, reengineering, or redevelopment.
- Actively engage in code reviews and resolve complex technical issues, particularly in Python environments.
- Address delivery challenges and resolve bugs that could affect client deadlines, with a focus on speed and commercial impact.
- Collaborate in shaping AI/LLM features by evaluating feasibility, determining implementation order, and managing associated risks.
- Introduce AI tools and autonomous workflows into internal development processes to enhance team efficiency.
- Cultivate a delivery-driven culture emphasizing weekly demos, transparent tracking, and continuous refinement.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering (frontend, backend, algorithm), project coordination, and data teams.
Requirements - Must-Have:
- Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional software programs in high-growth or startup environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, with a solid track record in reviewing and maintaining production-level code.
- Strong grasp of end-to-end system architecture and data pipeline structures.
- Hands-on experience with agile development practices and short-cycle iteration.
- Good understanding of current AI/LLM trends and their application in real-world product development.
- Excellent command of English, with strong communication, analytical, and systems-thinking skills.
- A high level of intellectual agility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements - Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in retail optimization, logistics, or supply chain.
- Familiarity with SQL or JavaScript.
