Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP), event-streaming platforms (Kafka, AWS IoT Core), and machine learning (Python, TensorFlow) is a strong advantage. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field is required.

About the role:

We are seeking a Technical Solution Lead with in-depth expertise in backend development, cloud-native architecture, and large-scale data systems, particularly in time-series databases. You’ll lead solution design and architecture across a modern stack, including C#/.NET, ReactJS, Kubernetes, and DevOps automation. Strong experience with PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB, performance tuning, and high-throughput data systems is critical. Experience with Python and AI/ML integration is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead architecture and development of backend systems in C#/.NET Core, optimized for IoT data ingestion and processing. Design and manage time-series data storage with TimescaleDB/PostgreSQL, including hypertables, continuous aggregates, retention policies, and compression. Oversee seamless integration with ReactJS-based frontend dashboards for IoT monitoring, alerts, and insights. Architect cloud-native microservices and event-driven systems using Kubernetes, containers, and messaging layers (e.g., MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ). Drive DevOps automation, including CI/CD, observability, and IaC (e.g., Terraform, Helm). Define and enforce best practices for device provisioning, secure communication, and telemetry pipelines. Collaborate with data engineers and AI teams to build intelligent features such as anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, or real-time analytics using Python and ML frameworks. Guide edge-cloud synchronization strategies, including device shadow, OTA updates, and latency-sensitive processing. Mentor engineers and lead code/design reviews to ensure architectural integrity and quality.

Essential Hands-on Skill:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in C#/.NET Core, and RESTful API design for real-time and batch systems.
  • Deep experience with PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB or other time-series databases — partitioning, continuous aggregates, hypertables, query tuning, etc.
  • Strong front-end integration experience with ReactJS.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native microservices architecture.
  • Proficient with DevOps practices: CI/CD, observability, infrastructure code.
  • Hands-on experience with data handling at scale, including retention, compression, and data modeling for analytics.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, AMQP), edge devices, and sensor telemetry.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML, anomaly detection, and time-series prediction (Python, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Knowledge of device management, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and edge computing architectures.
  • Experience with event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub).
  • Understanding of industrial IoT or smart manufacturing use cases is a plus.
