This is a remote freelance opportunity open to candidates located in the APAC region, with flexibility for part-time or full-time engagement. The role focuses on producing high-impact ad creatives—both static and video—to fuel performance marketing campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads. The successful candidate will collaborate with regional and growth teams to design, test, and optimize visual assets that drive conversions. Ideal candidates will bring 3+ years of experience in graphic and motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital ad work in Asian markets. The role also requires strong communication skills in English and an ability to adapt creative work to different cultural contexts. Bonus points for fluency in Chinese and experience in mobile app marketing.

About the Role

Timeleft is scaling fast across 13 countries in Asia, and we are looking for a Graphic Designer & Video Editor based in the APAC region to bring our local paid acquisition campaigns to life with eye-catching, high-converting visuals. You will work at the intersection of performance marketing and creative design, crafting static and animated ads as well as videos that drive engagement and conversions across Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and more. Your mission is to design and iterate performance-driven ad creatives, working closely with the Regional Team & the Growth & Performance Team to test, optimize, and scale winning concepts. This role is ideal for someone who is highly creative, with a strong understanding of what makes an ad perform well in digital marketing, especially across Asian markets.

Timeleft is rapidly scaling in Asia-Pacific, and our paid acquisition efforts are at the core of our growth strategy. To support our ambitious goals, we need high-impact visual assets that capture attention, engage users, and drive conversions. The Graphic Designer & Video Editor will be responsible for:

  • Creating a high volume of ad creatives that adapt to cultural nuances and maintain quality while supporting our performance marketing needs.
  • Ensuring brand consistency while adapting to market specifics and keeping up with fast-changing ad trends.
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ad Creative Production

    Design high-impact static and animated ads for paid acquisition channels (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, etc.). Create visually compelling banners, carousels, and other formats optimized for performance. Maintain a consistent visual identity while adapting to the nuances of each platform.

  2. Performance-Driven Design & Cross-Team Collaboration

    Stay up to date on best practices and creative trends in performance marketing. Work with the APAC Regional Team to create creatives aligned with audience insights and campaign goals. Work closely with the Growth & Performance Team to ensure seamless execution of ad campaigns.

  3. Asset Management & Workflow Optimization

    Organize and manage a structured creative asset library for easy access and reuse. Streamline the design production process, balancing volume and quality. Ensure fast turnarounds while maintaining high-quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design in Asian markets, with a strong focus on digital advertising.
  • Sharp understanding of the cultural nuances in the region.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Experience in paid acquisition marketing, with an understanding of ad performance metrics.
  • Strong motion design skills for animated ads (GIFs, motion graphics).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and advertising best practices.
  • Professional English, both written and spoken.

Bonus:

  • Proficient in Chinese.
  • Previous experience in mobile app marketing.
