Senior Golang Developer - Remote job - Contractor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Developer with experience in Rust and IPFS to join our backend engineering team. In this role, you will be a core contributor to building and optimizing decentralized infrastructure, distributed systems, and high-performance backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems in Golang

• Integrate and optimize decentralized storage using IPFS

• Write high-performance, memory-safe modules in Rust

• Develop and maintain RESTful and gRPC APIs

• Work closely with DevOps to build CI/CD pipelines and monitor services

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and deliver new features

• Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and team mentoring

• Ensure system security, scalability, and performance tuning

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

• 3+ years of experience in Golang

• Production-level experience with Rust and understanding of memory management, concurrency, and safety

• Hands-on experience with IPFS or other distributed file systems (e.g., Filecoin, Sia)

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture

• Comfortable working in a remote, async-first environment

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
