Senior Fullstack Python Developer
A leading client of itworks Asia is seeking a remote Senior Fullstack Developer to join their team, focusing on building a data analytics platform for the aquaculture industry. This full-time remote role is available to candidates based in Vietnam, offering a competitive salary of up to 66 million VND gross/month, along with standard Vietnam Labor Law benefits, annual and performance bonuses, paid leave (22 days after 5 years), equipment support, and certification training. The ideal candidate will have at least 6+ years of experience in Python development with strong frontend experience in React.js and TypeScript. Key technical skills include building scalable APIs (REST/GraphQL), working with PostgreSQL, and deploying on cloud infrastructure using AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3). Additional experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform is also required. Fluent communication in both English and Vietnamese is essential. We are looking for a skilled Fullstack Developer with experience in Python, React, and AWS to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications while ensuring robust cloud infrastructure. You will also play a key role in leading best practices and mentoring teammates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and optimize backend services with Python, following best practices.
- Build scalable front-end applications using React.js and TypeScript.
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs (GraphQL and REST) with efficiency and scalability in mind.
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.).
- Deploy and orchestrate services using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure system reliability through automated testing (unit, integration, system).
- Improve DevOps workflows, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
- Lead or mentor developers, setting high engineering standards and sharing best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 6+ years of experience in Python development.
- Expertise in React.js and TypeScript for front-end development.
- Proven experience working with PostgreSQL, building scalable APIs (GraphQL/REST).
- Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese.

- Experience building mapping and spatial applications such as with ArcGIS.
