About Us:
To compliment our existing business (Early Adopters Hub), we are launching a new startup/venture studio and are looking for up to three developers to join our core team. We partner with exciting clients to build innovative solutions and also develop our own in-house products. This is a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, and shape the direction of our studio as the go-to developers for us and our clients.
The First Challenge:
Our first project is for a real-world client in the financial-accounting sector. We are building an application to automate their payroll process by integrating timesheet data directly into Xero. This involves complex data parsing, API integration using OAuth 2.0, and building a seamless user experience.
Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking a talented developer who is passionate about building robust web applications and solving real-world problems.
Experience - You are the ideal candidate if you have:
1. Proven experience building and deploying full-stack web applications.
2. Deep expertise with third-party APIs, specifically with OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.
3. Hands on experience with ‘Vibe coding’ tools (e.g., Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Cursor).
Highly Desirable:
1. Direct experience with the Xero API.
2. Professional experience in the financial or accounting technology space.
Bonus Points:
1. Familiarity with no-code/low-code automation platforms (e.g., Lindy, N8n, Make, Zapier).
2. Likes the idea of working with a UK startup/venture studio.
