EL4 – Software Studio, a Vietnam-based software company specializing in tech solutions across industries like Healthcare, Hospitality, Education, and E-Commerce, is hiring a seasoned data engineering professional to join their remote team. This is a full-time remote position, requiring availability during Central European Time (CET) hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, cloud infrastructure (using CDK in Python), and data visualization tools, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure data solutions. Compensation is competitive, with a salary of up to VND 52,000,000 gross/month.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related fields, strong proficiency in SQL and Python, and a deep understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems. Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially in managing infrastructure as code, is essential. Knowledge of data visualization tools and the ability to communicate effectively in English are also key requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain efficient ETL processes and end-to-end data pipelines.
Support the development and maintenance of data visualization solutions to deliver actionable insights.
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple solutions using cloud platforms and CDK (Python).
Create reusable, modular components to accelerate solution development and ensure consistency.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear technical solutions.
Assist in architecting and implementing scalable, secure data solutions while upholding information security standards.
Write and optimize complex queries in SQL and NoSQL databases to address analytical and business challenges.

Requirements

6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-driven engineering role.
Expertise in building ETL pipelines and managing complex data workflows.
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, with a strong preference for Python.
Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including managing infrastructure as code (CDK or similar).
Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL data modeling and database management.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and best practices for data presentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; committed to clear, effective collaboration.
