Senior Data Analyst

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $1600 - $2200

About the Role

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for leading strategic data analyses, identifying root causes of performance changes, and providing data-driven solutions to guide business and product decisions. Ensure data quality, standardized KPI frameworks, and effective stakeholder communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis for business performance fluctuations or data anomalies.
• Design evidence-based solutions and recommendations for growth, churn reduction, and efficiency improvement.
• Develop and standardize KPI frameworks across functions.
• Perform causal inference and impact measurement to evaluate product and marketing initiatives.
• Define and maintain data quality control processes, including validation, documentation, and metadata governance.
• Present insights and data-backed recommendations to level leader stakeholders in clear, actionable formats.
• Prioritize analytical projects based on strategic value and business impact.
• Provide technical guidance and review for junior analysts’ work.
• Support internal training sessions on analytical methods and data storytelling.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis or a related analytical field.
• Extensive experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Databricks, Power BI) and data manipulation languages such as SQL, Python, and R.
• Proven track record of leading analytical projects and delivering actionable, data-driven insights that influence business decisions.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring or providing guidance to junior analysts.

Technical Requirements

• Analytics & Programming: SQL, Python, R.
• Visualization: Power BI, Databricks, or Tableau.
• Statistics: Regression, hypothesis testing, causal inference, A/B testing.
• KPI schema alignment.
