Senior Automation Engineer
IMT Solutions, a leading provider of digital transformation and IT services with headquarters in Tokyo and offices in Singapore and Vietnam, is hiring a Senior Automation Engineer to join their remote team based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This is a full-time remote role supporting a range of client projects across industries including telecom, finance, healthcare, and eCommerce. The position involves designing and executing scalable automation testing solutions, running both manual and automated test cases, detecting and documenting bugs, and ensuring seamless integration with development pipelines. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior QA members and contributing to improvement of test frameworks and processes. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in automation testing or software development. Proficiency in tools such as xk6, Cypress, NUnit, Reqandrool, and Cucumber is required, along with strong skills in black-box and gray-box testing. Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and fluency in English communication (both verbal and written) are critical for success in this client-facing role.

Role Description
- Analyze complex project requirements and specifications to identify optimal test strategies and automation opportunities.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test cases within the defined test framework.
- Execute both automated and manual test cases to validate product functionality, performance, and security.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with the development team.
- Maintain and enhance existing test scripts, optimizing for accuracy, efficiency, and reusability.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure seamless integration of automated testing in the development lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior QA team members.
- Support customers during product deployment, ensuring smooth delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing tools, frameworks, and processes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team leader or project manager.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in software development or automation testing.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with test automation tools such as xk6, Cypress, NUnit, Reqandrool, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
- Proficient in black-box and gray-box testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
