About the Role:

Position: QA/Usability Tester

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Salary Range: up to 8 million

Weʼre looking for a meticulous and user-focused Retool Tester to join our growing team in Ho Chi Minh City. Youʼll play a critical role in ensuring the internal tools and client-facing applications we build on Retool meet business goals, deliver great user experiences, and function as expected. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys exploring workflows, breaking things (on purpose), and helping teams build better products through structured testing, feedback, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular and structured user testing of Retool apps.
• Analyze and document user journeys, user flows, and edge cases.
• Write and manage clear test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Validate if business requirements are effectively met in the implementation.
• Identify usability issues, offer constructive feedback, and suggest flow improvements.
• Actively communicate with developers, designers, and PMs to close testing gaps.
• Act as a strong user advocate — bringing product insights and raising improvement ideas.
• Help ensure smooth and intuitive product experiences across tools.

What Weʼre Looking For:

Experience in testing web applications, ideally internal tools or SaaS platforms.

Strong understanding of UX, user flows, and product logic.

Comfortable creating test plans, tracking bugs, and working across teams.

Proficient in documenting issues and tracking QA feedback.

Detail-oriented with excellent critical thinking skills.

Familiarity with Retool or low-code tools is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience in QA for internal tools, business dashboards, or admin panels.
• A background in product or business analysis.
• Understanding of basic APIs, queries, and data flows.
