Overview
The Product Development & Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the development, review, and maintenance of NCC Education's qualifications and learning programmes, while also supporting Accredited Partner Centres in their delivery and compliance. This role bridges academic product management and centre relationship management to ensure high standards of quality, performance, and partner satisfaction across all programmes.
Job Purpose
To develop and manage NCC Education's qualifications and teaching programmes in line with regulatory requirements, while supporting Accredited Partner Centres in achieving compliance, strong academic performance, and learner success. The role ensures alignment between product development, academic operations, and partner delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
A. Product Development Management
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of qualifications and teaching materials in line with market and regulatory standards
Develop Learning Outcomes, Assessment Criteria, and Grade Descriptors.
Manage assessment cycles, including commissioning, reviewing, and signing off assessment artefacts and marking schemes.
Conduct qualification and teaching material reviews according to the annual maintenance schedule.
Gather market and partner feedback to inform product enhancements and new developments.
Ensure products comply with NCC Education, Ofqual, and other regulatory requirements.
Represent the department as a business user on projects and system improvements.
Provide statistical data and insights to support product and performance KPIs.
B. Accredited Partner Centre Support & Quality Assurance
Monitor Accredited Partner Centres's academic performance and adjust centre risk ratings as needed.
Support quality assurance processes including investigations into maladministration and malpractice.
Provide guidance to centres on NCC Education policies, academic regulations, and assessment delivery expectations.
Deliver product informations and inductions for Accredited Partner Centre staff.
Collect and communicate centre feedback and market insights to inform internal teams.
Support the development of centre action plans to enhance compliance and academic results.
Liaise with ministries, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders as required.
Manage ad-hoc academic administrative duties such as certificate issuance or exemption reviews.
