Product Designer
Ascension 6 is hiring a remote, freelance UX/UI Designer based in Vietnam to support MetroResidences, a tech-enabled real estate platform in Japan. This is a part-time position of 10–15 hours/week, ideal for designers seeking a long-term engagement with monthly compensation of 16,000,000 VND – 18,000,000 VND. The role involves designing high-fidelity web and mobile interfaces, creating intuitive user journeys, and aligning product visuals with established branding. You'll work alongside a global startup team in a fully remote setup, contributing to the product strategy for a growing platform backed by Rakuten and 500 Startups.
The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates both creative execution and strategic thinking. Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision is essential. You should be self-motivated, capable of handling projects independently, and confident collaborating asynchronously in English. A solid grasp of responsive design and mobile-first principles is crucial. Preferred skills include experience in B2B SaaS or eCommerce platforms, basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, and familiarity with remote collaboration tools like Notion, Jira, and Slack.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of real estate in Japan while working flexibly from Vietnam. You’ll be joining a small but agile team (2 developers and 1 PM) and will play a key role in shaping user experiences for an innovative platform trusted by thousands. Immediate start preferred.

We’re seeking an experienced Freelance UX/UI Designer (Remote working) to support our product design needs on a remote and flexible basis. You’ll be responsible for delivering user-centered, high-fidelity web and/or mobile interfaces and contributing to the overall product strategy. This role is ideal for a seasoned designer who thrives in fast-paced, remote environments and is confident working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- 🔍 UX Design
- Conduct user research, analyze customer insights, and translate them into design strategies.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and low-fidelity mockups to communicate user journeys.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define UX goals and validate through user feedback or testing.
- 🎨 UI Design
- Design visually polished, responsive, and accessible UI components for web/mobile platforms.
- Align designs with branding guidelines and maintain consistency across screens.
- Build and maintain design systems or component libraries if required.
- 🤝 Client & Team Collaboration
- Communicate progress clearly with clients or team leads via async or scheduled meetings.
- Accept and implement feedback quickly and efficiently.
- Deliver assets and documentation for handoff to developers (Zeplin, Figma, or similar tools).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of hands-on UX/UI design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both UX thinking and UI execution.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
- Ability to manage your own time and projects in a remote freelance setting.
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines without micromanagement.
- Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Be able to communicate in English and presentation skills.
- Team size: 2 Developers (1 FE, 1 BE) + 1 PM
