Junior Backend Engineer (web3)

Yêu cầu ứng viên có khoảng 3 năm kinh nghiệm backend hoặc mới tốt nghiệp, sở hữu kỹ năng Rust, hiểu biết về blockchain, Web3, tư duy chủ động, khả năng làm việc độc lập cùng môi trường làm việc phi tập trung toàn cầu. Công ty ưu tiên ứng viên ở châu Âu hoặc múi giờ chênh lệch trong 4h CEST, ngoại trừ ứng viên Mỹ, Úc hoặc New Zealand.

About the role
Location: We are a fully remote team, and although we hire almost globally, there is a preference for this role to be based in Europe or remote +/- 4 hours CEST time

Position: Full-time contractor
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Backend Engineer to support the deployment of CoW Protocol on new blockchain networks, troubleshoot and debug issues, support our on-call rotation, and contribute to our engineering backlog. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within the position and become a highly skilled Rust Engineer in a production-level Web3 environment.

What You’ll Do
Help deploy and maintain CoW Protocol across new and existing blockchain networks
Investigate and debug issues in production environments
Participate in our on-call rotation (with additional compensation)
Contribute to the engineering backlog and assist with feature development
Collaborate with experienced engineers and gradually take on more ownership of Rust-based services
Who You Are
Recently graduated or have around 3 years of backend experience
Hands-on experience with Rust, either through personal projects, open-source contributions, or commercial work
Solid understanding of blockchain and Web3 — you're familiar with the space, its core concepts, and have prior exposure through work, projects, hackathons or contributions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Proactive mindset, you take initiative and figure things out
Comfortable working remotely in a highly autonomous, async environment
