Position Summary:
The International Enrollment Advisor will be responsible for driving the recruitment of student-athletes from Southeast Asia into IMG Academy’s suite of programs, including boarding school, camps, and online offerings. This role will support the Director of Global Sales (East) by organizing and attending outreach and activation events throughout the region to build brand awareness. The Advisor will leverage strategic relationships with schools, clubs, federations, ambassadors, and the IMG Academy Global Referral Program to generate leads, expand networks, and identify new opportunities. A primary focus will be increasing enrollment in academy boarding programs and camps by both generating new leads and converting those sourced by the broader sales network, including the Director of Sales, Liaison Advisors, Marketing, and Sports Directors.
Position Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed revenue targets for boarding, camp, and team sales.
- Generate and convert leads via external events and activities.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of all outreaches in addition to ROI.
- Daily communication with strategic relationships created in Southeast Asia providing updates, support, education on IMGA.
- Deliver seminars and presentations to various audiences of families, teams, coaches, schools, federation officials, etc. on behalf of IMG Academy.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of IMG Academy campus, including boarding, camp, and team sales.
- Effectively use the necessary CRM software.
- Work closely with the marketing department to ensure outreach events are properly resourced with promotional materials, presentation displays, and appropriate collateral.
- Attend fairs and seminars with a focus on prospecting families looking to attend camp and/or school abroad.
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or related field.
- Strong decision making, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of the athletic and school landscape throughout the region.
- Athletic background playing sports throughout Southeast Asia.
- Outside sales experience managing an assigned territory.
- Experience in dealing with international clientele.
- Proficiency with MS Office and database creation/management.
- Experience with budgets and expense oversight.
- Ability to create and execute marketing plans.
- Expert attention to detail.
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree.
- Bilingual English and one language of the region.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
- Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required.
