The Role
EcoEquity is building the next-generation infrastructure for institutional carbon credit transactions — combining secure deal execution, smart contract–based escrow, and verifier-linked data rooms into a frictionless, auditable platform.
We’re looking for a senior full-stack engineer to join our lean core team and help bring our institutional platform to life. You’ll work alongside our CTO, Head of Product, Legal Lead, and Institutional Sales to transform climate projects into credible, investable assets.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for shipping fast, secure, well-documented code — and shaping the foundation of a product trusted by some of the world’s most demanding buyers.
We’re lean by design. You’ll have autonomy, clarity, and no unnecessary noise.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core front-end components: dashboards, private deal rooms, document flows, user permissions
- Integrate verifier APIs into the platform’s project data rooms
- Connect smart contract workflows to clean, intuitive interfaces (escrow flows, milestone triggers, contract status)
- Collaborate daily with the CTO on architecture and deployment
- Work with the Head of Product to translate specs into elegant, testable code
- Help define and document engineering standards and dev workflows
- Participate in security reviews, version control, and QA cycles
- Support seamless integration with tools like DocuSign, SAP, Workiva, and compliance APIs
- Contribute to technical decisions on scaling, modular design, and long-term infrastructure choices
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in full-stack engineering, ideally in high-trust B2B SaaS environments
- Proficient with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern front-end tooling (Tailwind, Vite, etc.)
- Back-end experience with Node.js, serverless architecture, or secure API design
- Understanding of blockchain interactions (especially Ethereum-compatible smart contracts and event triggers)
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and handling complex user permission systems
- Familiar with secure data workflows and auditability in enterprise or fintech settings
- Excellent written and spoken English — you must be confident communicating daily with global team members across time zones
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, remote-first teams with high accountability and low overhead
Bonus
- Familiarity with ESG reporting systems, verifier APIs (Gold Standard, Verra), or climate tech platforms
- Experience with smart contract logic or crypto custody flows (we use USDC and permissioned chains)
