Freelance Website Designer

OneLocal is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, an eye for clean and modern aesthetics, and experience designing intuitive, user-friendly websites.

Responsibilities

• Lead website redesign projects as we transition from WordPress to Duda.
• Design attractive, intuitive, and responsive website layouts and interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of designs.
• Optimize design elements for usability, performance, and responsiveness.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve site functionality.
• Stay up to date with current design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Ensure consistent branding and design language across all pages.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or equivalent.
• Experience working with website platforms like WordPress and Duda.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS from a design perspective.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of UX design principles.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design strategies.
