We are looking for a passionate Factory Planning expert to join NVIDIA’s Regional Factory Planning organization. The Factory Planner plays a critical role in ensuring reliable, scalable, and on‑time supply of high‑performance products to customers around the world. This role is responsible for translating demand into executable factory plans by aligning materials, capacity, and manufacturing readiness across contract manufacturing (CM) partners and cross‑functional teams.

In this role, you will work closely with Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Engineering, and CM partners to drive best‑likely build commits, improve operational execution, and continuously enhance planning efficiency. This position is expected of the active use of AI‑enabled, analytics, and automation tools to improve productivity, decision quality, and responsiveness in a fast‑changing, high‑tech manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive best‑likely build commits by balancing demand, manufacturing constraints, and CM capabilities while proactively identifying supply risks.

  • Monitor and drive execution of weekly factory build plans (likely commits), ensuring actual delivery adheres to committed plans and achieves OTD targets.

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Global Supply Chain, Inventory Control Planners, and CM partners to ensure plan feasibility and execution.

  • Monitor CM capacity, identify gaps, and support mitigation plans to resolve constraints impacting production.

  • Collaborate with Inventory Control Planners to maintain healthy inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, minimizing shortages, excess, and aging.

  • Leverage AI, analytics, and automation tools to enhance planning efficiency, scenario analysis, and predictive risk assessment.

  • Identify and drive automation opportunities to streamline repetitive planning tasks using digital, RPA, or AI‑driven solutions.

  • Continuously improve planning processes to increase accuracy, responsiveness, and operational excellence while supporting supply chain digitalization initiatives.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in factory planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a regional or global manufacturing environment, preferably in high‑tech industries.

  • Strong understanding of factory operations, capacity planning, and manufacturing execution in a CM‑based model.

  • Hands‑on experience leveraging AI, advanced analytics, automation, or digital tools to improve productivity, planning accuracy, or decision‑making in operations or supply chain functions.

  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external CM partners.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure, and rapidly changing environment while continuously learning and adapting to new technologies.

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to present data‑driven insights to stakeholders.
