Electrical Engineer with Python - Freelance AI Trainer
Mindrift offers flexible, project-based opportunities for experienced electrical engineers to contribute to the development and evaluation of AI systems for leading tech companies. This is a remote, non-permanent contract role, allowing contributors to work part-time (10–20 hours/week during active periods) performing tasks such as designing advanced engineering problems, validating AI solutions, and reviewing calculations with Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy). Compensation can reach up to $40/hour depending on project complexity and individual performance, with potential for future projects.
Ideal candidates have a degree in Electrical Engineering (or related fields), at least 3 years of experience, strong proficiency in Python, and advanced written English (C1/C2). Certifications such as PE, CEng, EUR ING, or RPEQ, as well as experience in international or applied engineering projects, are considered strong assets. Reliable internet access is required.
Selected contributors will join projects through a brief qualification process and receive payment per completed tasks. Earnings, workload, and project availability may vary across the platform. Candidates should submit their CV in English and specify their English proficiency level when applying.

What we look for
This opportunity is a good fit for electrical engineers with an experience in python open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Ideally, contributors will have:

- 3+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
