Electrical Engineer with Python Experience - Freelance AI Trainer
Mindrift offers a fully remote, freelance opportunity for Electrical Engineers residing in eligible countries to contribute to advanced AI projects for leading tech innovators. This short-term engagement (estimated 6–10 hours) focuses on designing complex electrical engineering problems, evaluating AI model solutions, and validating calculations using Python. Earn up to $40/hour with schedule flexibility, working on tasks that must be delivered by the project deadline.
Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields, 3+ years’ professional or academic experience, and advanced Python skills (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy) for validation tasks. Expertise in areas such as power systems, electronics, microelectronics, embedded systems, or renewable energy is required, along with C1+ English proficiency. Only those currently living in approved locations are eligible.

The Role
We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers with strong Python skills to train AI models on complex electrical engineering reasoning tasks. This role focuses on technical evaluation and problem design, not software development or data labeling.
What You’ll Do

- Design rigorous electrical engineering problems reflecting professional practice.
- Evaluate AI solutions for correctness, assumptions, and constraints.
- Validate calculations or simulations using Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy).
- Improve AI reasoning to align with industry-standard logic.
