Business Development Manager
Glints is hiring a Business Development Manager for a remote role based in Vietnam, on behalf of a Forex trading client expanding its presence in Southeast Asia. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a lucrative commission scheme. The role involves developing localized business strategies, overseeing operations across sales and marketing, driving client acquisition, building relationships with stakeholders, and managing a small team. Candidates will also be expected to conduct market research and ensure compliance with local laws, with potential career growth to a Country Manager position.
Candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience in the Forex industry and be fluent in English, both written and spoken. A deep understanding of Vietnam’s Forex market including key brokers, regulations, and payment systems is essential. Strong networks are crucial—ideal candidates should have connections with 20+ Introducing Brokers (IBs) and a personal trader network of 25–50 active traders. A background in direct sales and global payment solutions is required, along with the ability to work independently or manage a small team (1–3 people).

Our client was established in 2012 with the goal of becoming a leading provider of online trading. They are now ready to grow our market in South East Asia and looking for Business Development Managers to join their company based in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement business strategies tailored to the local market, ensuring alignment with the company's global goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of the company's operations within the country, including sales, marketing, and finance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a local team, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, and government officials.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and to inform strategic decision-making.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and ensure financial performance targets are met.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Reporting: Provide regular performance reports to senior management.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in Forex industries.
- Strong English communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of the market landscape in respective countries e.g key broker, payment options, regulations, etc.
- Experience in client acquisition, direct sales, and global payment options. Having at least 500 - 1,000 connections, 25 - 50 active traders in the market.
- Experience in Introducing Broker (IB) acquisition. Having connections with at least 20 IBs, Affiliates, etc.
- Ideally individual contributor or manage small teams (1-3 members).
