Business Development Intern

This is a paid internship offering hands-on experience in expanding into Thailand’s luxury retail sector, including golf courses, 5-star hotel gift shops, and high-end boutiques. Interns will be responsible for market research, partnership outreach, consignment negotiations, and retail support. In addition to core learning opportunities, interns can earn performance-based incentives for successful sales or partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Fashion, Hospitality, or a related field, with a strong interest in luxury retail and hospitality. Key skills include communication, negotiation, independent work, and sales. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Thai or other languages is a plus. Previous experience in fashion, retail, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive intern to help expand our premium sunglasses brand into Golf Courses and 5-star hotel gift shops and high-end lifestyle boutiques in Thailand. This role involves researching potential retail partners, reaching out to decision-makers, and securing consignment agreements. The intern will gain valuable experience in luxury sales, business development, and brand partnerships within Thailand’s luxury tourism and retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and build a database of golf courses, luxury hotel gift shops, lifestyle boutiques, and premium eyewear retailers in Thailand
- Identify and connect with key decision-makers (retail managers, buyers, hotel managers)
- Present the brand’s unique selling points and negotiate consignment agreements
- Assist in product placement, in-store branding, and visual merchandising
- Monitor sales performance and maintain relationships with retail partners
- Work closely with the marketing team to align branding strategies with luxury retail standards
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, Hospitality, or a related field
- Interest in luxury eyewear, fashion retail, and high-end hospitality
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Fluent in English; Thai or other languages are a plus
- Prior experience in sales, retail, fashion, or hospitality is an advantage
