Role Summary

MageBinary is a high-performance eCommerce studio with a startup mindset. We partner with global brands to deliver next-gen headless commerce builds, PWA storefronts, and custom integrations. We’re looking for a Magento 2 Backend Developer who thrives in maintaining and extending complex eCommerce systems. This role is not just about keeping the lights on, it’s about solving business problems with clean architecture, reliable code, and a strong sense of ownership.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain & extend Magento 2 projects (Open Source & Commerce).
• Develop custom Magento 2 modules and extensions to meet client requirements.
• Integrate with external systems (ERPs, CRMs, Payment Gateways, Odoo, Strapi) via REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement and test patches, upgrades, and security updates without breaking custom features.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to support headless builds using GraphQL and REST.
• Optimise performance across database, caching, and Magento indexing layers.
• Work with infrastructure engineers to ensure CI/CD pipelines, Dockerized environments, and deployments run smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and debug live issues in staging and production environments.
• Participate in agile ceremonies: sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
